Fire Check 240
The Fire Check 240 steel door has been developed to provide a certified range of fire rated personnel and fire exit security doors. The range has been independently tests by Chiltern International Fire to BS476:Part 22 1987 for a minimum of 4 hours fire resistance.
Every door comes with a fire rated door closer as standard and its unique steel casing protects/isolates the internal locking mechanism. Additional welding is applied on the corners and seams. The door also has specialist infill and fire rated weather seals.
Fire Check 240 steel doors are manufactured from 1.2mm Zintec treated steel to resist corrosion, and the leaf is 45mm thick. The fire door also comes with 3 dog bolts as standard.
The frame is made from 1.5mm thick Zintec coated steel. A minimum of 3 high-quality stainless-steel hinges (BS 1935.2002 grade 11) are fitted. The frame also comes with a DDA compliant threshold.
